And don’t forget about potassium-rich foods like bananas and sweet potatoes – they can counteract the effects of sodium and help maintain a healthy blood pressure.

Mental wellness

Stress can be a major contributor to high blood pressure, so it’s important to take some time each day to relax and unwind. This could be through meditation, reading a good book, or even just sitting outside and enjoying the sunshine. Remember, it’s not selfish to take care of yourself – you can’t pour from an empty cup!

Positivity

It’s easy to get caught up in the negatives, especially when it comes to our health. But maintaining a positive attitude can do wonders for your overall wellbeing. Instead of focusing on the things you can’t do, focus on the things you can. Celebrate your victories, no matter how small they may seem. And remember, it’s never too late to make a change.
